I see the lines drawn in the sand I don't need to you, I don't need you hold my hand I am stronger than you might believe Trust this and know that I will be set free Our time was over before it began Get in line and wait to take the stand I think I know the game you play Don't need you now so walk away I'm not scared of the distance I'm scared of where it ends Cause where the silver lines the clouds It's still a long fall to the ground I'm not afraid of the unknown I'm afraid of knowing what I know When your screams are just a whisper How do you rise above the crowd? I feel that our times slipping away In just a minute, I’ve been given only seconds to say I will, I’ll be the first one to leave When it gets tough, I won’t give up, but I’ll take what I need Our time was over before it began Get in line and wait to take the stand I think I know the game you play I don’t need you now so walk away I'm not scared of the distance I'm scared of where it ends Cause where the silver lines the clouds It's still a long fall to the ground I'm not afraid of the unknown I'm afraid of knowing what I know When your screams are just a whisper How do you rise above the crowd?

Drinking out, drinking out my selfless state of mind, It's not the time to see you, see me, leave you breathing, Steaming up this final evening. This doesn't mean I'm innocent. Rest in peace, you said you want it Now I know you don't belong here But follow me, follow me, follow me Into the depths, woah. Follow me, follow me, follow me You will regret this, you know Tripping out, tripping out my senses fading quick Just a little bit more you, more me, more ecstasy You see this only works for me. This doesn't mean I'm innocent. Rest in peace, you said you want it Now I know you don't belong here But follow me, follow me, follow me Into the depths, woah. Follow me, follow me, follow me You will regret this, you know

I read your message written on my hotel door You've done a lot thinking and you're coming back for more But over means over now, I've turned the other way Learned the lesson that nothing's forever Are we the ones to know Which way the wind is gonna blow If this is real or for show Who is there to say But I'm standing here alone It's through no fault of my own My heart is stone And you're the one to blame Every time I pulled you in, you had to push away You always had your reasons and they never were the same Remember when we said we’d take the world by storm This is a promise that nobody's keeping Are we the ones to know Which way the wind is gonna blow If this is real or for show Who is there to say But I'm standing here alone It's through no fault of my own My heart is stone And you're the one to blame Holding out for more time With your old lines Know said it would come true Tying up the phone lines On your own dime No one has to know but you No one said it would be So easy for me to cut you free Now carry on Are we the ones to know Which way the wind is gonna blow If this is real or for show Who is there to say But I'm standing here alone It's through no fault of my own My heart is stone And you're the one to blame

I pass the stars in the sky Miles from nowhere escaping this bad dream I’ll keep my path straight and clear Through pitch black and white noise Wishing for a way out of here We’re headed somewhere fast Past the point of turning back Send a message to the ones you love You’ll be the brightest star when they look up We met when the sun was in your eyes Distracted so I never saw the light Falling faster through the stars But never further from where you are We’re so far away (We’re so far away, but never far enough) We’re so far away (We’re so far away) I pass the stars in the sky Miles from nowhere escaping this bad dream I’ll keep my path straight and clear Through pitch black and white noise Wishing for a way out of… Here we go so hold on tight Shield your eyes from the blinding light Take my hand and stay with me This is our only chance to be set free No one will ever find us here Up here, it’s never been more clear This is the end of all we’ve known Together forever, forever alone I pass the stars in the sky Miles from nowhere escaping this bad dream I’ll keep my path straight and clear Through pitch black and white noise Wishing for a way out of here We’re so far away (We’re so far away, but never far enough) I pass the stars in the sky Miles from nowhere escaping this bad dream I’ll keep my path straight and clear Through pitch black and white noise Wishing for a way out of here

Saving Grace 03:29
Standing in the snow outside my window By the tree in the back yard in the dark There’s a girl with no face and no emotion I can hear the screams and feel the breaking heart The cold piercing through her broken skin A tear falls from thin air and melts the snow The moon shows no remorse behind the clouds The world may never see or ever know This is the end, this is the start The breaking point she falls apart These are the words she’ll never hear But they’re alive, trembling in fear This is the end, this is the start The breaking point she falls apart These are the words she’ll never hear But they’re alive, trembling, and I can’t save her The final leaf of autumn hits the ground A reminder that time moves way too fast The cold wind carries her faint voice over to me The four words that she speaks, they are her last. This is the end, this is the start The breaking point she falls apart These are the words she’ll never hear But they’re alive trembling in fear This is the end, this is the start The breaking point she falls apart These are the words she’ll never hear But they’re alive, trembling, and I can’t save her Lying in the snow outside my window By the tree in the back yard in the dark There’s a girl with no face and no emotion I can hear no screams, but feel the broken heart This is the end, this is the start The breaking point she falls apart These are the words she’ll never hear But they’re alive trembling in fear This is the end, this is the start The breaking point she falls apart These are the words she’ll never hear But they’re alive, trembling, and I can’t save her

Now only time will tell If this ship will sail A weathered starboard bow My failure bearing down In this restless sea beneath the northern lights This treachery, admit defeat, or resist and fight So, anchor down against the waves And you take cover Anchor down, I’ll raise the flags You take cover All hands met their ends By the sounds of the cannon fire The smoke clears and here I stand Face to face with an angels choir So they may say that I wasted away But I must admit, that I can't regret a single thing So, anchor down against the waves And you take cover Anchor down, I’ll raise the flags You take cover Full sail ahead, boys Make this one count Steer clear the fallen Blow the man down All the songs we've sung All the battles we've won Does it mean a thing When death finally comes? It’s in the way they live It’s in the way they die But there’s no way back now to save me I've seen the way love I've seen the way they cry I wanna raise the flags! So, anchor down against the waves And you take cover Anchor down, I’ll raise the flags You take cover

I spoke too soon when I said You meant everything to me Cause now I know where you’ve been sleeping And I find it really hard to believe You know where I stand When you’re never anywhere I can see you And all you ever did was deceive me All you ever did was deceive me I’m taking it back now I used to lie alone and wait While you’re sleeping in another place, it’s just not fair (You think you’re innocent. You were never innocent) But no one ever said it would be And now I’m sick and tired of waiting for you (You think you’re innocent. You were never innocent) So this is what’s become of us There is no faith there is no trust You cared too little, and I said too much And now there’s no going back No way to undo what you’ve done I’m taking it back now I used to lie alone and wait While you’re sleeping in another place, it’s just not fair (You think you’re innocent. You were never innocent) But no one ever said it would be And now I’m sick and tired of waiting for you (You think you’re innocent. You were never innocent) I spoke too soon when I said You meant everything to me Cause now I know where you’ve been sleeping And I find it really hard to believe I find it hard to believe, you know where I stand I’m taking it back now I used to lie alone and wait While you’re sleeping in another place, it’s just not fair (You think you’re innocent. You were never innocent) But no one ever said it would be And now I’m sick and tired of waiting for you (You think you’re innocent. You were never innocent) I used to lie alone and wait While you’re sleeping in another place, you know it’s your turn now

about

Ahtanum Shore is an oasis in the dry desert valley of central Washington, where our story begins. The low buzz of a lone amplifier sets the tone of 2013, when the only sounds heard throughout town are the screams of teen angst and colorless melody.

Hunter Bosley plugs in his guitar and begins think outside the valley, searching for progression in chords and harmony that have been buried beneath the years of influence fueled by rage. With the help of Sean McKie, driving vocal melodies beyond the normal expectations of the scene, they develop a foundation to begin the new year. Cody Stewart, longing for change, joins the team with his refined leads and up-beat rhythms. The group finds a niche style that is sure to have them ring out above the distortion.

Through trial and tribulation, try-outs and auditions, as musicians tend to be ever-in-motion, Ahtanum Shore finally finds Nathen Wood, boasting his bouncy bass lines, and Ean Verver, a technical and explosive drummer, to compliment the sound they had spent an entire year crafting.

Together the group shares the same vision: to step beyond the constraints of a trend that has focused its theme on aggression and angst; to shed light on a darkened desert valley. Ahtanum Shore is an oasis, offering a refreshing sound to the current scene.

about

Ahtanum Shore Yakima, Washington

A super-group, if you will, the members of Ahtanum Shore have all worked their own projects (Lethal Lava Land, Exact Your Revenge, Three Days Til Dawn, From Safe to Semi, Half Way Decent, ROAM), sharing the stage at one point or another, so it was inevitable that each musician would find their way into this one collective. Ahtanum Shore will no doubt be a force to be reckoned with. ... more
